Samkos Mountain

• 4:30 AM — Depart from Phnom Penh

Leave Phnom Penh early in the morning and begin the journey toward the Samkos area, travelling through the countryside and enjoying the changing scenery along the way.

• 7:30 AM — Breakfast Stop in Pursat Town

Arrive in Pursat Town and take a morning break for breakfast at a local restaurant before continuing toward the village. Breakfast is not included.

• 8:00 AM — Continue to the Village

After breakfast, continue the journey toward the village, which serves as the starting point for the trekking and camping experience.

• 11:00 AM — Arrive at the Village & Prepare Your Lunch Box

Arrive at the village and prepare your own packed lunch box for the journey. Once everything is ready, take a local tractor toward the hiking starting point.

• 12:00 PM — Lunch Break Along the Trek

Enjoy your packed lunch along the way and take a short break to rest and recharge before continuing toward the campsite.

• 12:30 PM — Continue Trekking to the Campsite

Continue the journey toward the campsite, travelling through the natural surroundings and gradually making your way deeper into the Samkos area.

• 5:00 PM — Arrive at the Campsite, Set Up Your Tent & Freshen Up

Arrive at the campsite in the late afternoon, prepare and set up your tent, then take a shower and freshen up after the day’s journey.

• 7:00 PM — Dinner Gathering & Sharing Session

Gather together for dinner at the campsite and join a sharing session led by the tour leader, creating a relaxed evening for the group to connect and share experiences from the first day.

• 6:00 AM — Breakfast, Tea & Coffee

Wake up early and start the morning with breakfast, tea, and instant coffee at the campsite before preparing for the main trekking adventure of the trip.

• 7:00 AM — Prepare Your Lunch Box & Trek Toward Phnom Samkos Summit

Pack your own lunch box and begin the trek toward the summit of Phnom Samkos. The trek takes you deeper into the mountain environment as you make your way toward the highest point.

• 11:00 AM — Reach the Summit of Phnom Samkos & Lunch

Arrive at the top of Phnom Samkos at an elevation of approximately 1,717 metres. Take time to rest, enjoy the summit experience, and have your packed lunch at the top before preparing for the descent.

• 12:00 PM — Begin the Descent Back to the Campsite

After reaching the summit and enjoying lunch, begin the journey back down toward the campsite, taking time to appreciate the surrounding mountain landscape along the way.

• 4:00 PM — Arrive at the Campsite & Prepare Dinner

Return to the campsite in the afternoon and take some time to rest before preparing for the evening. The group will also get ready to cook dinner together.

• 7:00 PM — Dinner, Sharing Session & Evening Games

Gather together for dinner followed by a sharing session led by the tour leader. Depending on the group, the evening can also include games and relaxed activities around the campsite.

• 6:00 AM — Breakfast, Tea & Coffee

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast, tea, and instant coffee at the campsite before preparing for the final day of the journey.

• 7:00 AM — Pack Your Lunch Box & Trek Back to the Village

Pack your own lunch box and begin the trek back toward the village, following the route through the natural surroundings and gradually making your way toward the main road.

• 12:00 PM — Lunch Break Along the Way

Stop along the route to enjoy your packed lunch and take a short rest before continuing the journey back toward the village.

• 1:00 PM — Arrive at the Village & Main Road

Continue the journey until reaching the village and the main road, marking the end of the trekking portion of the adventure.

• 2:00 PM — Depart for Phnom Penh

Leave the village and begin the return journey to Phnom Penh, with time to relax after completing the mountain trekking experience.

• 8:00 PM — Expected Arrival in Phnom Penh

Expected arrival in Phnom Penh in the evening, concluding the three-day Samkos trekking and camping adventure.
